Privacy.

Short version — we collect the minimum we need to publish, ship a book, run a small private practice, and send a slow newsletter. We do not sell your data. Here is the long version, in plain English.

1. Who we are

ALLAIA Media (referred to as "we", "us", or "ALLAIA Media") is the operational entity behind allaiamedia.com, Allaia Power as a personal brand, the book Become Her, The Architecture (1:1 private practice), and Coven (community, launching Q3 2026). We are the controller of any personal data you share with us via this site or in the course of working together.

2. What we collect

When you visit allaiamedia.com

Basic analytics — page views, referrers, country, device type — through a privacy-respecting analytics provider that does not track you across other sites. Server logs (IP address, timestamp, request path) retained for thirty days for security and debugging.

When you contact us or apply

Stan Store handles book purchases and The Architecture applications — your purchase data is processed by Stan Store under their privacy policy. Newsletter signups are handled by our newsletter provider. Email and Instagram DMs sit with their respective providers.

When you join the private practice

Name, billing details, and the content of our work together (calls, written threads, journaling shared with permission). All of this is treated as confidential by default.

3. Why we collect it

  • To respond to your inquiry, run a discovery call, and deliver the work (contract / legitimate interest).
  • To invoice you and meet our tax and legal obligations (legal obligation).
  • To improve the site and understand which writing lands (legitimate interest).

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. We use a focused set of trusted processors to operate the business — each bound by a data-processing agreement:

  • Hosting — Cloudflare Pages.
  • Storefront — Stan Store (book + The Architecture application).
  • Newsletter — Beehiiv (or current provider — see the signup form).
  • Email — Google Workspace.
  • Messaging — Instagram (Meta).
  • Accounting — standard cloud accounting platform under DPA.

5. How long we keep it

  • Inquiries that do not convert — deleted after twelve months.
  • Active client data — kept for the duration of our work plus seven years for legal / accounting reasons.
  • Server logs — thirty days.
  • Analytics — aggregated, no individual retention.

6. Your rights

Wherever you are based, you can ask us to see what data we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, delete it (subject to legal-hold periods), stop processing it for marketing, or export it in a portable format. Email allaiaj.luise@gmail.com and we will respond within thirty days. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

7. Cookies

We use the minimum cookies needed to run the site. No third-party advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. Your browser settings let you block or delete any cookies you do not want.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change anything material, we update the date at the top and post the new version here. Significant changes get an email to anyone we have worked with directly.
